Are Webinars an Event Marketing Strategy?

Do you consider all webinars to be events as an event marketing? Is that, are these synonymous? I think we can say that webinars certainly fit under the event umbrella, but it's not just for event marketers. But obviously, webinars are typically a much smaller scale than the traditional kind of in-person or the really experiential things that we would expect from kind of larger events.
