How to Forget Things

I was there that day, but I was actually looking away when Dan scored the goal. We had no faffing around, which is a lovely piece of vocabulary. Memory like a goldfish was another one, which remembers someone that doesn't remember things very well like Dan. The opposite of that is someone who has a memory like an elephant like me apparently - it's not true. They say JFK got killed by a sniper because nobody knows where they are.
