Tartagrite is a small organism, but it's a multi cellular organism. They've found it living on nuclear actions and could take high doses of radiation. It can survive all sorts of insane environments including being exposed to space. And i just want to say to doctor lynch that the world needs more scientists that look like you. There's a whole episode devoted to a tartegradi fine. I believe it. Its ie Weirdly Interesting.
What will life be like on other planets? On this episode, Neil deGrasse Tyson and comic co-host Chuck Nice explore the origins of life on alien planets and extremophiles right here on Earth with astrobiologist Kennda Lynch.
