The Distinctions Between Hard and Soft Sciences

Both science and Marxism can be held in a dogmatic way, right? We all know dogmatic Marxists who adhere to doctrine more than dialectical materialism. Science only has to end when the thing in question doesn't exist inside the natural world or can't otherwise be scrutinized according to the scientific method. But this dichotomy is ultimately unhelpful and arbitrary as it merely props up a wall between certain types of things studied.
