When i was growing up, i wanted to be a business man. What i really wanted at that time was wealth. When i'm going through periods where i'm a little bit worried about money, i have this weird idea in my head. I remember even having these little fantasies as a little girl that i'd go to a britney spheres concert and id meet her after,. And some strange reason she would decide to give me a million dollars. It's the first time i've admitted that publicly. Like, i don't even think my parents, no, that was a fantasy of mine as a child.
Life feels like a bunch of micro-decisions, yet a few macro-decisions often end up determining how you spend most of your time.
Perhaps one of the most significant are the degree you choose and the first job you take. The decisions that follow those are inevitably pulled by their inertia.
In this episode, Cal and Steph discuss the importance of exploring the diversity of jobs out there and how many people become fixed in a singular path.
