The Thing That Best Functions Is Money
Gold is a most divisible, durable, recognizable, portable asset in history that is the hardest to produce. Why silver? Silver functioned successfully alongside gold for thousands of years because we had not abstracted d into a bank note yet. Once you abstract them into paper currency, you've gathered all those properties of money under a gold standard,. Because now i have gold that's real portable, real divisible, because it's just paper backed by gold.
