The Conflict Between Reason and Revelation

Taimian ontology is extremely important also to his discussions, his hermeneutics. He recognizes that reason does basically exonerate God from all the efficiency and attributes all perfection to him. But he says the point to hear is that the affirmation of perfection and the negation of imperfection from Allah can be known through reason. You will not establish attributes until you hear them from the revelation.
