Musharraf did manage to derail democracy twice in Pakistan once in 1999 and then again by his case causing a schism between the army and Nawaz Sharif. Justice Vakar said disgusting vindictive outbursts makes one question his ability to even judge that case. The fruit of a poison stream is milked sweet but it kills you all the same. Any good he might have done is overshadowed by the legitimacy of him ruling over us in the first place. He declined treatment at a government hospital and chose to take care of his health privately.
