The Tax Code Is Fucked Up

There are some constraints on it, but they're really not that onerous. The law is written that way because these people give lots of money sometimes to people who are writing the laws. And you would know better than I do what those pressures were like as an elected official to not tick off your donors. But I'm a progressive. We all do better when we all do better.
