CHAPTER

The Importance of Perception

Everything we perceive can be traced to the origin of these prediction mechanisms that ultimately aghere towards regulation of the body. We cannot understand experiences of the self and of the world except in light of our nature as living organism. What we perceive is not an object, a direct read out of a mind dependent reality. It's a brain base, best guess, a controlled hallucination. This applies also to the experience of what in the world is our body one element of self. The same argument, i don't have time, but applies to basically every other aspect of self also. But perceptions of self are not to do with finding out what's there. They are to do with control and regulation
