A concussion is the brain shaking within the skull from some force or impact. It can be a direct blow, like i fell and i whacked my head, or i got hit with something. And sometimes you can get changes in some of the electrical activity in the brain,. which is why you can get a shaking spell right afterwards. The term concussive convulsions arose to describe those benign impact seizures.
