The Real Difference Between Being and Non-Being
I have a number of concepts, intelligible species, ideas about reality. And written into those concept is the real distinction between being and non-being. How do we know this? Using my nephew, Abraham as an example, he knows there's a real distinction between ice cream cone-ness and non-ice creamcone-ness. With that real distinction then, we understand something from this dynamic of knowledge that we can typify as order. There is order where there's distinction and difference, there is priority, firstness, and secondness. This act is what reason does, recognizes and does.
