The Origins of the OWL Bear

The original figure for the owl bear had a beakish face and a furry body, but it was standing up like a Godzilla monster with a big long furry tail. It's got this like mop top hair, bowl cut hair. And then in later editions, they drew it as much more of a bear with an owl face. But the first time the owl bear showed up was in Greyhawk, 1975, the first book that would give rise to Dungeons and Dragons.
