The Bible is not the exclusive revealer of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is and you can't even see the Bible right without the Spirit. John 14, John 15, John 17, Ephesians 1 continually reiterate to us that we did not get a junior version of the love of God. We got the same nature and measure of love that he had for his son. And now we're moving in this elevated pneumaticology which we're going to talk about tonight.
