How Do You Write a Book?

At the end of every book, i tell myself, pretend you're done. This is it. You don't have an obligation write another one because you don't want to do it out of a sense of obligation,. So i try to start in that frame of mind. Almost always, in retrospect, starts with a character. But for a question, why are the oaklandays winning so many games with no money?
