How to Treat Frostbite
Justin Hensley: I'm going to talk about the treatment of frostbite, which is a little strange for me because down here in Australia we're getting record high temperatures. Frostbite has been historically classified into four tiers or degrees of injury following the same scheme as thermal burn injury. The first and easiest step is ibuprofen 12mg per kilogram twice a day to 2.4 gram max. Beyond local wound care, you want to do some systemic care.
