William's Conquest of England

William was not enthused about getting crowned. In fact, were told that william confided in his closest companions that he was particularly concerned about political situation in england. There's no record of a major organized resistance campaign coming out of the english leadership from this period. But something was clearly still giving him the heb jbes which suggests that there must have been some form of resistance movement in England.
