The Importance of Ethnography in Film
A literary person maybe is more observant of the city and can see in ways that people that are more accustomed to like don't question right or even like plays of shadow and light in a film scene. A careful ethnographer is really good at breaking this down but we also kind of want to have bigger context and make sure that the politics is clearly revealedRight so that's where I think there's a real balance that's established between the materials right because like and the humanities they might say.
