The Importance of Psychiatry in Political Thought
Fanon was a philosopher psychiatrist revolutionary activist. He believed true commitment to non-violence is to paradoxically fight against violence so the thing about Fanon is in a way similar to the story I just told about reflecting on you know my youth. For Fanon the core question for those who would like to look into his thought because a lot of people look at his thought as exclusively looking at issues around black people now that doesn't say that diminishes the thought but Fanon was fundamentally a radical universalizing humanist.
