There were rumors going around that the consular head who was issuing the visas was actually corrupt. So if you're in Cabinda, and if they won't let you into the DRC, you can't get into Angola. There's no way out. You either have to drive all the way back up to Europe, or maybe forecast 10,000 bucks to get your vehicle on a DC 10. But that's going to cost you a lot of them to fix that process. And eventually, yeah, it was all fun. It was all taken care of.
