Rode Profile Design Basics - Three Flame Settings
I've been training more than 1,500 students in small groups of six to eight over the years. With three flame settings, that's typically enough to create almost any roaster profile you can imagine because more complexity than that is not really needed. And since 2014, I've been doing scientific research with the sensory evaluation to support the simplicity of this framework and really only accept concept in the coffee roasting process if it shows up as a relevant concept in the sensory data.
