The Importance of Conditional Probability
There's a variety of ways in which events can be related so independence means there's no connection between them at all. Conditional probability where events are now connected they can make each other more likely to happen or less likely to happen. The simplest is straight conversation. So how does theory get into that kind of randomness, in that case for instance? Well there's a range of ways and the most common one is by analogy with an American game show.
