Is There a Morally Consistent Opinion on Ad Blocking?

Every individual that blocks ads is one individual who will not be contributing money towards the website, towards any website. So if The Smurge has a million readers a day and 10% of those people go away, then it's 10% of their income that they lose. And yes, they may be using ads that aren't great, but they are the ads that exist because it's the only ads that they can use to fulfill the money that they need. But nonetheless, I am more in favor of users being able to control their machines.
