The Importance of Having a Gun

You talked about having the tool, the gun, giving you the choice. And so I wonder if you could share about when you were living in the barn to minimum and your father was visiting and you saw a poacher drive by. Your dad gave you some advice: "If you take that, you might end up using it" Right. Well, and that's also, I think, important aspect of this story, which is that like, this is not just a story about my relationship with weapons or violence in the West, it has to do with my family.
