Working From Home Will Boost Productivity?
Some people are arguing that the move to working from home is going to be a boost to productivity. But if you look at it, US productivity actually fell at a rate of 1.4% annualized from a year ago. I think what we'll see is a bifurcation here between physical jobs where you have to show up and bash a piece of metal and kind of knowledge jobs where you kind of just manipulate spreadsheets and information. We won't have an idea until a couple of years down the line what the effects are. It is a massive change to the way of working.
