The Narrative of Jesus
We all live from a narrative script by which we make sense of the chaos and complexity of life in the modern world. The question that you have to ask, follower of Jesus or not, is what story am I living into? And this whole thing is an open invite from Jesus for you to join in it. If you're anything like me, you want to drag Jesus into your story. That is a recipe for frustration and angst. His agenda is not to make you healthy, wealthy and wise. He was a crucified Messiah who put to death by the Empire after saying come take up your cross and apprentice under me.
