The Fire Squad at Grenfell

Fire fighters arrived on the scene at grenfell just after one a m. They were well versed in dealing with high rise fires. The buildings are made of concrete which stops flames from spreading. So they hurried to the fourth floor flat where the blaze started. At first it seemed like an ordinary call, doused the flames and put them out. But then fire fighters noticed something alarming. Flames were climbing up the side of the building. Many residents had no idea there was a fire blazing around them. Without a central alarm system or other emergency warnings, many continued to sleep through the early moments of the disaster.
