In Japanese, the vowel still there. It's just been divorced. French is a more straightforward example because French just kind of lost a bunch of sounds. But they're still written. And English is the same way. We no longer have, we no longer pronounce the word, uh, technique. Mm hmm but we still keep the K and the GH in there. Yes.
