A lot of it is working with the community and hearing from them what their pain points are, and then solving for it. Thete's quite a bit of gold out there in our community, and we're able to work really effectively with them and make changes to the product. One of my insights while launching arband data portal, from zero to two thousand plus weekly active users, was this attention to detail, to design,. It actually makes a big difference in creating trust in the product and also data itself.

The binding element of all data work is the metadata graph that is generated by all of the workflows that produce the assets used by teams across the organization. The DataHub project was created as a way to bring order to the scale of LinkedIn’s data needs. It was also designed to be able to work for small scale systems that are just starting to develop in complexity.
