How to Use Melatonin to Improve Sleep Habits

Melatonin's best use is to augment shifting the body clock. For your healthy athlete, I'm not convinced melatonin's necessarily going to do that much. If some people about four in ten people find melatonin, it does have a mild sedative effect. But just because you can get synthetic melatonin doesn't mean it's necessarily a natural product. It is still people taking something and essentially outsourcing the responsibility for sleep to a product.
