A Vertical Approach to Marketing and Sales

A vertical approach is all about creating products intended for a specific industry, demographic or market. This is in contrast with hori marketing, which attempts to appeal to as many different groups of people as possible. Adopting a vertical approach allows you to develop what is called a beech head strategy - focused on winning a particular market first and then moving on to larger markets.
