At a small startup, founders get to keep the upside if the thing goes really, really well. If it becomes the next big thing of the company, they're definitely not going to keep most of that up. So we have increasing risk aversion sort of at the organizational level for larger organizations. But you know, nobody ever got fired for going with IBM.
