Time Zones - What's the Difference?
A year after the railroads in north america adopted zone time, there was a meeting in washington, d c to standardize time in 24 zones around the world. Once everyone was on the same standard time, it was easier to work together. And i think that helped make the world feel like a smaller place, united by a common language of time.
