The Unrelated Boy Who Vanished
Herman Holmes was a con man, but he also didn't shy away from hard work. He claimed the boy in his company was his son and there is speculation that this was a completely unrelated boy who disappeared after being arrested. There were reports of Herman paying quote, violent attention to a young woman named Allen Who eventually left town. And on several occasions, he was known to have treated out of town women for what's only referred to as organic trouble in his office.
