On october 20, first 20, 14h 68 year old gary plachet passes away due to complications from a stroke caused by diabedes. Following his father's death, jode decides that he's ready to finish o writing a book about his experiences from over 35 years before. He wants to help other parents by writing it. In 20 19, he publishes the book, which is titled, y garry, y which is what the police officer said to garry when he shot jeff. To day, he continues to present professional and college training throughout the country about his father's actions.
