The Radical Insufficiency of Propositional Knowing for Personhood
I think it's unreasonable to conclude right now that these machines have perspectival knowing. Can they generate all kinds of propositional theory about perspectives you bet. They have crystallized intelligence, but keep the analogy to moral reasoning. That's not the same thing as being able to take up a perspective and bind yourself to it in a very powerful way. And I think that's the best way to talk for why I think the machines currently lack that.
