"Six point futurism" is a book about finding meaning in the world. In it, author David Frum argues that rationalist decisions can be broken up by arbitrariness. He says if you pick an arbitrary variable like blue shirts or Mount Rainier as your ideal view of the sky, then there's no reason to justify it. "I've got a slightly more esoteric structure I'm thinking about these things," he said.
