How to Quantify Tennis Stats
Tennis is a sport of quite fine margins and you know a shot that on a breakpoint which is millimeters out on another day it could be millimeters in and the match. So how do you go about quantifying these different pieces? Nadal obviously has got better stats on clay because it's his best surface so it kind of draws its own conclusion that's corrected by just by definition basically. His stats are pretty much every year much better on clay than they are say on hard cotton, grass or indoor hard.
