Is That the World We Choose?
The film has had an interesting impact on public policy. It's led to a lot of conversations with generals and deputy defence ministers. The message we've been trying to get across is that the issue is one of consequences. What would the world be like if we had widespread availability of lethal, tonomous weapons? And our security,. whether it's personal or social or international, securitywould be dramatically reduced. We need to look at the consequences, and is that is that the world we choose? Unfortunately, that message, despite making the movie, is still really hard to get across.
