The Importance of Sleep for Mental Health

Sleep and weightfulness are two sides of the same coin. To be able to sleep you need a sufficient amount of wakefulness that is usually about 16 hours. The risk of mood disorders goes up in these setting of sleep deprivation for those who already have known mental health concerns. It can affect our interpersonal interactions which affects quality of life as well from a safety perspective.
