Zelda's Not a Flapper
Fitzgerald's wife Zelda decided she wanted to be a professional ballet dancer in her late 20s. She also as mentioned started writing too, but it was difficult career to pursue while married to one of the most famous writers of the day. Fitzgerald certainly gave her credit as a great letter writer and drew directly quoted her letters for some of his work. But he claimed he knows because he was trying to earn the money.
