The Midlands is that Quaker zone that started in Philadelphia, Delaware Bay and southern New Jersey. It spread with the settlers between the Scottshire Screeder Appalachian Settlement Zone and the Yankee New Englander ones. There's a middle path that cuts through the middle of Ohio and Indiana and Illinois and much of the northern parts of Missouri. And then spreads out fan like into Iowa and much ofthe Midwest. You still have about a fifth to fifth to the country that is unaccounted for so far in the interior West and the West Coast.
