The Relationship Between Genes and Political Tribalism
Openness is your best character in political affiliation, at least in the United States. Openness is the positive predictor of liberalism and negative predictor of conservatism. The other domain where you see a little bit of a relationship with conscientiousness is more on what we think of as conventionality or traditionalism. So are you more of a rule following person and your approach to the world? If you are, then you tend to be more conservative and less liberal.
