I Think the Pandemic Hasn't Helped the Situation in the Church World
RJ: I think for a lot of women I know this is multi-layered. The pandemic has not helped the situation and it's really hard to see up close. When I had my daughter there was a senior clergy woman who said basically when are you going to get a real job? Where you work on Sunday mornings, she told RJ. "I'm always hesitant in these conversations because the last thing I want to do is advocate for some sort of like 1950s model"
