Why People Always Build a Story

People will always build a story anyway, about why your idea does or doesn't make sense. In order for them to act on it, they need to have a ready case that they would tell. So essentially what we're doing is supplying an explanation with the elements their brain is going to look for anyway. It's much more effective than saying, i know you want this thing, but you actually want what we've got instead.
