What Is Confessionalism?

i used to think this sort of like, i don't know, system subscription when it came to confessionalism was a viable way to think about it. The more i've thought about it, nd the more i've observed, it seems that if you go that route, it' it's unsustainable. When you try to do this whole, well, some stuff is more important than others, but i'm not going to tell you which ones are important,. It's just kind of up to the minds of the people who are in power at the time. That seems a recipe for disaster, and the opposite thing of what confessions are supposed to do.
