The Immorality of Jokes

Not every anti-Semitic joke need be told for anti-Semitic reasons. Some theorists like Ted Cohen think that no, you just have to accept as a fact of the sadness of human life that sometimes very, very horrid examples of humor are simultaneously funny. The jokes that are told with invective against them are the same times that insiders tell. There it may be in fact the case that the joke is both immoral and funny.
