Android 1.0 - The First Commercially Successful Phone
In 2010, Android was still like a solid fourth or fifth place. And so with that trick, the team managed to ship Android 1.0 and the G1 started to be sold. It wasn't actually a great success though. The uptake of the G1 wasn't huge. But all of a sudden, Android became a thing partly due to this device.
