Meditation and Its Health Benefits

There's been a fascinating explosion of scientific research into meditation. Scientists have found that when you meditate, you are in effect performing a kind of neuro surgery on yourself. It can even help with seemingly unrelated things like irritable bowel syndrome and seriasis. There was a study done at harvard a few years ago that took people who had never meditated before to take an eight week class.
