The Battle of K-Desh

Ramesses II's mummified corpse was discovered at the Valley of Kings within the Theban Necropolis in 1881. After being transported to Paris in France in the 1970s for inspection and preservation it has been sent back to Egypt where it can be found today in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Next week we're going to look in detail at the battle of K-desh, probably the most famous battle in ancient history.
